Brunsviger

Ingredients:

Dough:

1 dl Dóttir skyr natural soothing

1 dl milk

25 g yeast

1 egg

40 g soft butter

1/4 tsp salt

200 g flour

Topping/filling:

200 g butter

200 g brown sugar

 

Preparations: 

Dough: 

  • Warm the milk so it’s lukewarm, then add the yeast to it.
  • Add the ingredients into a bowl and mix together with a wooden spoon until smooth and shiny.
  • Spread the dough into a baking pan lined with baking paper.
  • Let it rise for 1 hour.

Topping/filling: 

  • Melt the butter and brown sugar on medium heat.
  • Make indentations to the dough, the pour and spread the topping/filling over.
  • Put it in the oven for 20 min on 180C
